Der cobmeister readily admits that, when not performing

his other duties at Ft. Cobb, he "writes a bit."

Cobb's short story, Coffee With Billy, is a June, 2004 release from Echelon Press as a "Dollar Download."  Buy great fiction for just a buck!  In the 1880's Billy Bonney was known throughout the southwest as a serious threat with a pistol or rifle, a young man not to be trifled with. No one knows for sure how many men Billy killed or even why most of them died. Was Billy a romantic hero, a Robin Hood of the old west? Or was he a "slack jawed killer, a monster on horseback?" Cypriano Valdez was famous for his ability to track rustlers and robbers even when the trail grew cold with the passage of decades. Cobb's western novella, Mantracker, follows Valdez on his trek in the search for justice. Mantracker is an August release from Echelon Press and can be purchased for just a buck at Echelon's Dollar Download page.  To read a brief excerpt from Mantracker, click here.

Mantracker was an award winner in The Fiction Works' 2003 "Gary Contest" and is scheduled for their release as an audio-book in early 2005.

Let's face it, shall we....  There just is not much market for stage plays set in the contemporary west. Never one to be much impressed by the sharp slap of reality slamming a door, der cobmeister has authored several contemporary stage plays which can be sampled by clicking here.
